Today, after more than 500 years, there still exist rural communities in the Andes of southern Peru that display in their traditional dress an exceptional richness of color, personality and cultural identity, the product of a sophisticated syncretism that nevertheless maintains intact the age-old ‘language’ of Andean textiles while using foreign ‘technology’ adapted during the course of centuries.

This first Intarsia Collection aims to show, in garments crafted to very high technical standards and incorporating a notable component of current fashion, the chromatic beauty that this fusion of two worlds achieved, and to bear an authentic message of Living Culture and Art.
