Our company

We are SANTA BEATRIZ (Almacén Santa Beatriz SAC), a Peruvian textile family company devoted to the manufacture and worldwide marketing of top-quality hand-knitted products.

Herbert Murillo Velásquez, chemical engineer by profession, after working for more than twenty years in the main alpaca textile companies in Peru, returned to his home city with the intention of setting up a boutique textile workshop aimed at producing very high quality products for the international market.

Founded in 2002 in the city of Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, Santa Beatriz is where the extraordinary inherent ability of Cuzco’s craftsmen in knitting and finishing their products is combined with the use of the noblest of Peruvian natural fibers, such as extra-soft alpaca and sophisticated Pima cotton.

Today, with a portfolio of renowned overseas customers, Santa Beatriz is still run by the same family: the parents, Herbert and Angiolina, with the collaboration of their daughter Claudia in Product Development and Design, and their son Rodrigo in running the financial and commercial areas of the business.
